A certified childbirth educator and lactation counselor with deep commitment to equitable, evidence-based, and culturally competent maternal care. Appointed Director of Advocacy at DONA International (2025–Present) after serving as Chair of DONA’s DEI Black Mother and Baby Subcommittee and DEI IMPACT Program (2022–2025).
Has attended over 1,000 births, provided mentorship and support for hundreds of doulas, and led multiple local and national initiatives to improve maternal and infant health outcomes in marginalized communities.
