Nutrition Advisory & Support

As certified nutrition advisors, we will equip you with the knowledge and tools to help you manage your diet and nutrition, promote safe and healthy management of your medical conditions, and identify cost effective ways to sustain a healthy lifestyle. If you have chronic conditions, we offer personalized meal planning assessments and recommendations to create nutrition plans tailored to your specific likes and dislikes.

Body Awareness
Body awareness is the practice of sensing what’s happening with your body. This includes both physical sensations and emotions. It also involves being aware of your posture, movement, and breath.
Our approach to body awareness incorporates the span of your body's natural movements, combined with practical techniques for relaxation, deep-breathing, rocking, fast-movement vs. slow-movement exercises.
Our body awareness services include:

Lactation Counseling Services
As professional lactation counselors, our mission is to help support mothers and infants in optimal feeding so that both can be healthy. We specialize in the clinical management and emotional support of breastfeeding. We are trained and equipped to assist mothers in preventing and solving breastfeeding issues such as:
- Feeding difficulties
- Sore nipples
- Poor latch
- Failure to thrive
- Breast engorgement
- Low milk supply

Yes, BirthWise provides specialized packages for clients planning a Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC) or a cesarean birth. The VBAC package, starting at $2,500, includes two prenatal visits, a VBAC-specific childbirth education class, a prenatal yoga session, two postpartum visits, a personalized birth plan, and continuous doula support during labor. The Cesarean package, also beginning at $2,500, offers similar services tailored to cesarean births, with an additional focus on a “Gentle-C” childbirth education class and three postpartum visits.
